Some familiar faces are getting set to make their NBA Summer League debuts on Thursday night. Three former Michigan State basketball stars are suiting up with the Orlando Magic this summer and they're gearing up to make their cases for NBA roster spots.

Jase Richardson is obviously the headliner for the Magic as he was selected No. 25 overall in the first round as Michigan State's only draft pick in 2025.

Joining forces with him in the backcourt is fellow Spartan guard Jaden Akins who just wrapped up his four years at Michigan State with a Big Ten title. He didn't get drafted but many believe he has the tools necessary to make a name for himself in the NBA -- heck, he tested the draft waters as an underclassman before returning.

Lastly, Akins' former freshman year teammate Marcus Bingham Jr. is also on the roster and he's spent some time overseas already. He's signed a contract to return overseas following Summer League play, but if he can fare well enough, maybe he could earn a two-way contract somewhere.

These three Spartans will tip off their NBA Summer League action on Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings (a team which was linked heavily to Richardson during the draft process).

Here's how you can watch:

TV: NBA TV
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Date: Thursday, July 10

If you're looking to follow the Magic throughout Summer League play like most Spartan fans are, they play on July 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV. They also play on July 13 at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and July 15 at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV.

Four games of Richardson-Akins-Bingham action over the next week? Yes, please.
