Monday was a big day for college football fans. The AP Top 25 was revealed and while Michigan State football didn't make the ranking, a prominent FOX Sports personality ranked all 136 FBS teams and he had to include the Spartans.
But where did RJ Young have Michigan State?
Before I tell you, just keep in mind that this is just one man's opinion and Young is known for trying to conjure up some drama and discussion, so his ranking of Michigan State might just be rage bait.
Without further ado, check out just where he ranked the Spartans:
Did @RJ_Young really rank all 136 FBS teams ahead of the season? Yes, yes he did 🙌🔥

If you're having a tough time finding Michigan State, that's because you'd have to go down the list a long way. The Spartans are the No. 97 team in his rankings, making them the second-worst team in the entire Power Four heading into the season.
The only Power Four team that Young believes will be worse than Michigan State? Purdue.
While it's fair to think Michigan State will be mediocre this season, it's wild to say that it'll be the second-worst team in the entire Power Four with a top-10 receiving corps and a quarterback who some believe could be a future first-rounder. Is it because Young didn't do his research before this ranking? That'd be my guess, but it'll be nice to revisit this in November.
You can't tell me that there are 96 better teams in the country this season.
If we're going by these rankings, Michigan State will only play one (technically two with Youngstown State in the FCS) team in the country ranked lower, per Young. That's Western Michigan at No. 120.
Time to prove people wrong again.
