Michigan's most notoriously hated fan is at it again, and Michigan State fans can not roll their eyes loud enough. It is bad enough that the Spartans have to watch Michigan make it to the National Championship, but now to be trolled yet again by Barstool president Dave Portnoy adds the cherry on top of a sundae Michigan State doesn't want.
After Illinois lost to UConn in the Final Four, Portnoy took to social media to congratulate the Fighting Illini on a great season, but also happened to insult them in the same sentence. Not only did Portnoy go after Illinois, but he also took shots at many other Big Ten teams, like Michigan State.
Not only did Portnoy call Michigan State the "little brother," but he also took a shot at head coach Tom Izzo, calling him "Tommy Sweet 16," trying to take the shot at him for only making it to the Sweet 16 typically in the NCAA Tournament.
Let me be the 1st to congratulate Illinois on a great season. They should be very proud. Just making it this far is a huge accomplishment for them. No reason to hang their heads. A true happy to be here team. Now it’s up to Michigan to finish the job for the Big 10 as we…

Dave Portnoy isn't helping Michigan gain any fans in the National Championship
Michigan State fans probably weren't planning to cheer for Michigan in the National Championship, but they might have been swayed to do so because of the Big Ten ties. With Portnoy's latest comments, those thoughts are probably out the door.
Michigan State and Illinois are not the only schools that Protboy went after in his post. Portnoy also took a shot at Michigan's other rival, Ohio State, as well as Nebraska, which was one of everyone's favorite teams to watch this year in the NCAA Tournament.
Here is to hoping that UConn can take down Michigan in a way that will have Michigan State fans very happy and Wolverines fans very sad in the end.
