Media availability has become the highlight of fall camp every year, and every other day during the week, we get some solid quotes from Michigan State football players and coaches.
On Tuesday, guys like Joe Rossi, Darius Snow, and Quindarius Dunnigan spoke to the media about practice so far as well as the upcoming season. They spoke to the media about what they've seen from camp to this point as well as what the expectations are for certain position groups.
Obviously, with this being a defensive-minded media availability, they spoke about that side of the ball, reflecting on the sack-less streak last year and what has changed this year.
While the offense wasn't the topic of conversation, it was brought up because, well, the defense does have to go against it every day in practice. A good sign would be the defensive players praising some offensive guys, and that's exactly what Snow did. He spoke highly of Aidan Chiles so far during fall camp and admitted that he hasn't thrown a single interception yet.
Darius Snow: “On offense, we have a chance to create a lot of explosive plays. Aidan Chiles has been very conscious of his reads. I don’t think he’s thrown a pick this camp.”

This will change as the season draws nearer, but the fact that Chiles has improved his decision making to the point of not throwing a single pick to this point in camp is impressive.
Yes, I know most of his throws have come against shell defenses, and they're barely even into pads yet, but this is a good sign that he's working more through reads this year. He has the tools to be great, he just had a lot of lapses in judgement a year ago that led to plenty of turnovers.
From the sounds of it, that's changing.
