What a successful weekend it was for Michigan State fans. The hockey team completed a two-game sweep of the No. 3 team in the country at Munn while the hoops team beat No. 14 Arkansas 69-66 to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
The Spartans picked up a nice win over John Calipari’s talented Arkansas team, controlling the tempo of the entire game, and a couple of young guys stood out.
Jordan Scott had six points and seven big rebounds while Cam Ward had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Coen Carr led the way for the upperclassmen, finishing with 15 points and seven rebounds. He was also sporting a different look on Saturday night, wearing a baggy graphic tee under his jersey.
It felt like maybe he forgot to do laundry, but when the cameras zoomed in a little closer with him at the free throw line, it became apparent that he was wearing his own NIL t-shirt.
Coen Carr really dropped 15 and 7 wearing his own graphic tee as an undershirt😭 pic.twitter.com/cymllZI5pl

This is one of the funniest moves that I’ve seen a player make in a while. Carr decided to rep his own brand, which can be purchased on the NIL store’s website, while dominating against the No. 14 team in the country to the tune of 15 points, seven boards, three assists, and a steal.
Without Carr’s impressive defensive play and overall positive impact on the offensive end, Michigan State doesn’t hold on to beat a really good Arkansas team.
The baggy graphic tee under the jersey is a look that feels like it’s straight out of the 1990s, and Carr has a style that feels like it’s from the same era. He can get away with something like this.
