Thursday was a big day for the future of Michigan State basketball.

The Spartans added FAU wing transfer Kaleb Glenn who stands 6-foot-7 and had a strong sophomore season with the Owls, leading the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game. And he rebounds well for a wing, grabbing 4.4 per contest.

Now, it'll be interesting to see how he acclimates to his new team and if social media is any indication, the Spartans got a guy who is going to fit right in. Coen Carr and Jeremy Fears Jr. were thrilled with the news.

Carr took to Instagram to showcase his excitement.

Glenn is also former teammates with Fears and the Spartans' point guard was also happy with who his head coach went into the portal to snag.

He, too, chimed in on the addition of Glenn with a simple picture.

The familiarity there between Glenn and Fears is something that's only going to ease this transition from FAU to Michigan State. Fears was a top-50 recruit who played with the Indy Heat and his teammate, Glenn, was a top-75 recruit who ended up at Louisville.

Now the two are reunited in East Lansing with a chance to do something special next season.

Michigan State's lineup and rotation is shaping up nicely for next season and it feels like the Spartans are 1-2 solid transfer additions away from being favorites to win the Big Ten again.

Glenn brings a sharpshooting ability (41 percent from deep) along with a willingness to put the ball on the floor and just score. He finishes strong around the rim and has plenty of athelticism. A 3-4 combo of Carr and Glenn will give defenses nightmares.

The former FAU star has two years of eligibility left.
