Coen Carr continues to prove he's the best dunker in college basketball

When Michigan State basketball needs a boost, sophomore Coen Carr always seems to deliver. That was no different as the Spartans were able to outlast a tough Wisconsin team this past weekend to take over the driver's seat (again) for the Big Ten title.

Carr has done this throughout the season, and even as far back as last season as a true freshman. He's a human highlight reel, and that was evidenced by his two dunks on Sunday. Sure he only played 13 minutes and only scored four points. But his four points felt like a whole lot more.

He continues to find his role, and more often than not this season, Carr has been in the game at some of the most important times, and when he is he makes a great defensive play that leads to a fast-break.

When the Spartans get out and run, Carr typically ends up with a highlight-worthy jam.

Tre Holloman hit Carr in transition against the Badgers for a reverse two-hand slam.

That was just the beginning as he made a big effort on the defensive end of the floor as he stole the ball from Wisconsin's John Tonje, saved it and still made it down the floor to throw down a vicious dunk, putting teammate Jaxon Kohler on a poster.

Both dunks certainly caught the eye of Tom Izzo. He spoke about how much Carr brings to the table and how his dunks bring life to the team in big moments.

"It's funny a dunk is worth two points, a three is worth three points, but (Carr's) dunks are worth six points, I think," Izzo said via his post-game press conference Sunday. "Because not only are they usually incredible plays... but for the most part, it got us going."

Do the Spartans need a lot more from Carr moving forward? Yes, but the fact he can get the team going when he breaks out with a big dunk, has certainly helped put the Spartans in a great position to win the Big Ten and make a deep March run.
