Three weeks into the 2025 season, Michigan State football is 3-0 once again. The Spartans started this hot a year ago before losing to Boston College and running out of steam, going 2-7 in the final nine games of the season. That can't happen again.

All signs are pointing to it not happening again, too. The Spartans are looking much better offensively, and a lot of that success on the offensive side of the ball has to do with Aidan Chiles' improvement.

The junior quarterback transfer from Oregon State was a turnover machine last season, and had four interceptions through the first three games to just four touchdown passes. This year, he has six touchdown passes to just one interception.

Quite the turnaround for the talented dual-threat.

Before the season, he wasn't even listed as a top-10 quarterback in the Big Ten by some media outlets, but that has changed in a hurry. He definitely didn't have any Heisman odds.

Now, he's been granted Heisman odds after three weeks of action, according to FanDuel. He now has the 48th-best Heisman odds in the country after his 3-0 start.

What are his odds? Oh, just +20000 which puts him ahead of guys like Kaytron Allen (Penn State), Nicholas Singleton (Penn State), Justice Haynes (Michigan), Caleb Downs (Ohio State), and just behind Boston College's Dylan Lonergan who has +15000 odds.

Obviously it's early, and Vegas is finally showing Chiles some love, but he's still not getting enough respect. He's behind guys like DJ Lagway (Florida), Cade Klubnik (Clemson), and Arch Manning (Texas) who have all had terrible starts to the 2025 season.

If Chiles goes out and leads Michigan State to a big win over USC, expect those odds to get even better next week. He's facing a quarterback with the 19th-best odds to win the Heisman.
