Jonathan Smith and Jon Boyer have done an incredible job with Aidan Chiles this season.

Adding Boyer to the staff was one of the smartest things Smith could have done to help his young quarterback, and Chiles has responded with an impressive start to his second year with the Spartans.

Through four games, Chiles has nearly 900 passing yards, over 150 rushing yards, 11 total touchdowns, just one interception, and a completion percentage that's flirting with 70. He has been one of the most improved players in the country, and he's on pace to finish with nearly 3,000 passing yards, nearly 500 rushing yards, 33 total touchdowns, and his career-high in completion rate.

It's safe to say that Chiles is proving his doubters wrong early in the season, and he was even just ranked the No. 19 quarterback in the country by CBS Sports.

While he's been impressive, he still has a long way to go if he wants to live up to that billing as a potential first-round pick. He's still improving and working on his game, but it's clear everything has slowed down for him. He's even improving his Heisman Trophy odds every week, according to DraftKings.

Last week, he was one of the lower Heisman "candidates" on DraftKings with +20000 odds to win the award, but those odds were cut in half after his USC performance. He now has +9000 odds. That gives him the 34th-best odds nationally, tied with Nebraska's Dylan Raiola who he'll face in Week 6.

Two Big Ten quarterbacks are pacing the Heisman odds, led by Indiana's Fernando Mendoza (+700) and Oregon's Dante Moore (+850). USC's Jayden Maiava is tied for eighth (+1600).

The Big Ten is clearly loaded with talent this year, and Chiles is still standing out.
