5 New Year's resolutions for Michigan State Athletics

4. An Aidan Chiles breakout

I think many of us were hoping for more from Aidan Chiles as a year one starter, however, the expectations that he would come in as a top starter in the conference was unrealistic. The turnovers absolutely were and still are concerning, but if there's anything to take away from the year, it's that it was nice to see him play more under control by the last stretch of the season.

A resolution for many involved, a breakout season should not only be hoped for but expected for the former four-star. It's time for him to begin putting the team on his back more often and playing cleaner football over the entire year.

Obviously, everyone has bad outings and that will still happen, but we would like to see more good than bad in 2025.
