2. Coen Carr is growing before our eyes

Much like Jeremy Fears, Coen Carr had his best game as a Spartan on Saturday.

The sophomore forward was doing literally everything from rebounding to blocking shots to throwing down thunderous dunks to even hitting a three. Carr was all over the floor and looked like one of the best players in the country. While he's considered mostly just a dunker, he is growing into much, much more than that.

Carr is growing into a great all-around player before our eyes.

We saw Carr play some really solid defense with a steal and a block and he was doing everything right offensively with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting and he grabbed eight rebounds and even hit his first 3-pointer of the season. And, honestly, the shot from 3-point range looked comfortable and natural.

If Carr continues this rapid growth, he's going to be one of the best players in college basketball before we know it. The 2023 class is coming along nicely.
