3. This is the most cohesive team in recent memory

When was the last time you saw a team play this well together? It's been since Cassius Winston was still running the point in a Spartan uniform and Xavier Tillman was calling the shots from the post.

This team is built much differently than the last 3-4.

Pretty much every facet of the game has been a strength for Michigan State this season outside of 3-point shooting but even that has shown some promise in recent weeks. The Spartans did shoot 4-for-8 from deep on Sunday and really took higher quality shots. It's the cohesiveness of this team that has set it apart from recent seasons and that's why it feels like this squad could do big things.

Michigan State has won nine straight games and sits at 14-2 on the season and 5-0 in Big Ten play because it just plays really well together. The guards complement the bigs and vice versa.

I've been really impressed with this team and it's because there's very little drama, they all want to see each other do well, and Tom Izzo has been coaching his tail off. This season could be special.
