3. Get Kur Teng and Gehrig Normand more involved

This team has been abysmal when it comes to three-point shooting, in case you haven't noticed. This team is 362nd in 3-point percentage. Woof.

I know it's early in the year, and likely that the 20 percent 3-point percentage will go up, but these are important shots the team is missing. If they had made just two more 3-pointers on Tuesday, this team perhaps may have unseated the No. 1 team in the country. The shooting behind the arc is holding this team back, and they need to look at options that can get them help now.

Look no further than getting freshmen Kur Teng and Gehrig Normand in the game. The two main reasons these kids are on a college basketball team are because of their shooting ability. Teng has shown a bit of it to this point, In 11 total minutes this year, Teng has logged eight points. Six of those points have come from deep, going 2-for-2 so far. He has accounted for two of the team's 12 total 3-pointers made this year, and guess what? He didn't even smell the floor against Kansas.

Normand hasn't seen much time on the floor either, even less at just seven total minutes in two games, and he has only attempted one three-pointer this year that he missed, however, everyone knows Normand was recruited for his 3-and-D potential. Well, with the current state of the roster, someone needs to step up. It's time to give Normand a chance to do so.
