2. Frankie Fidler finally has his breakout game

I feel like this is something I've been predicting for a minute now and it's going to happen at some point, it's just a matter of when, not if.

Frankie Fidler is averaging 9.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game but he hasn't scored more than 15 points in a single game this year. Even more interesting, he hasn't taken more than six shots in a game since the Memphis loss on Nov. 26. I think both of those change on Friday night.

Fidler came to Michigan State as one of the best pure scorers at the mid-major level and everyone kind of expected that to continue in East Lansing, but he's been quiet so far.

Heck, he's even coming off the bench now.

But Fidler has that scoring potential in him. He just needs to act on it. He will on Friday night to the tune of 18 points and six rebounds on over 50 percent shooting. He'll find his touch early and ride that for the remainder of the game to have his best performance in a Spartan uniform.
