Just days after dismantling Washington in their first-ever Big Ten battle, Michigan State basketball will be on the road to face Northwestern in Evanston.

The Wildcats are just 1-3 in Big Ten play while Michigan State is 4-0 so this game is crucial for both sides. For Northwestern, it needs a win here to stay afloat in conference play and to not fall too far behind in the pursuit for an NCAA Tournament berth. For Michigan State, it needs to win in order to keep pace with Michigan, the only other undefeated team in Big Ten play.

Michigan State is looking to improve to 5-0 in conference play and that only happens if the Spartans continue to play their vintage brand of Tom Izzo basketball.

Let's dive into some bold predictions for the road battle.

1. Coen Carr records a double-double

Through his first year and a half with the program, Coen Carr has yet to record a double-double. That may seem somewhat surprising since he can get up and players the forward position which should be in line for a decent amount of rebounds.

Carr has secured eight rebounds just once this season and seven in another instance, but other than that, he's been around 2-5 rebounds per game.

On Sunday, he'll have a career day on the glass, finishing with 10 on the game and really making life difficult for Northwestern. Michigan State is already a good rebounding team but Carr will make it a great one on Sunday afternoon in Evanston with his 10 rebounds to go along with 12 points.
