1. Upset city

Michigan State is heading into this one as an underdog which now makes this the second time this season in which the Spartans haven’t been favored.

The first time was against Duke in the Champions Classic and after a shaky first half, the Spartans really picked up some momentum in the second half. If they didn’t completely fall apart at the end of the first half of that game, we may be talking about a 4-1 Michigan State team with all the momentum. But since that second half, Michigan State has been hot.

With Michigan State getting hot from deep and the defense playing at an elite level through five games this season, the difference will be rebounding. If the Spartans can keep it close on the boards and box out on the defensive end, I can see them picking up a huge win.

That’s what I’m going with here.

Michigan State will win and improve to 4-2 on the season, making a Thanksgiving Day statement.
