2. Maliq Carr and Montorie Foster Jr. were special

This will go down as the Maliq Carr legacy game and his final numbers probably should have been even more gaudy as he had a touchdown catch called back because of illegal motion and he made another one-handed catch along the sideline that would have been inbounds if he was thrown even a foot closer to the field of play.

Carr finished the game with eight catches for 88 yards and two touchdowns and it should have been more like 10 catches for 160 yards and three scores. He was special.

Also special was Montorie Foster Jr. who had one of the best catches of the season and his run after the catch for a touchdown was almost equally as impressive.

Foster finished the game with a game-high 93 yards and a touchdown on seven catches. He has become the team’s best receiver this year.
