Sunday’s Michigan State vs. Tennessee exhibition game will capture the attention of hoops fans everywhere. The Spartans, a top-five team to start the year, will face another potential Final Four contender in East Lansing.

While it may seem wild that Michigan State and Tennessee are playing an exhibition game with nothing on the line, the two sides are coming together for charity.

In fact, this will be played for the Maui Strong Fund which is raising money to help out after the wildfires ravaged Hawaii. The money raised for this event will go to that. Pretty cool, considering these two teams are going to put on quite the show.

The Spartans will showcase one of the best teams in the country led by AJ Hoggard, Jaden Akins, and Tyson Walker while Tennessee brings back Zakai Zeigler and Santiago Vescovi.

Both of these teams made the Sweet 16 last year.

The last time these two met officially was in 2010 in the Elite Eight but they also had a closed-door scrimmage in Knoxville a year ago in which the Volunteers reportedly won.
