Michigan State football will face a beatable opponent this week, but the Spartans will have to go to Minneapolis to secure their first win in over a month.

Will the Spartans handle their business?

Let’s get bold ahead of Saturday’s game.

3. Nathan Carter rushes for over 100 yards again

It’s been almost a month since Nathan Carter rushed for 100 yards which is actually hard to believe given how impressive he is as a back.

Carter is arguably the most talented player on the offensive side of the ball and he has struggled behind a mediocre offensive line over the past couple of weeks. He’s had no lanes to run since the Iowa game when he last rushed for over 100 yards and while Minnesota has a solid run defense, I think Michigan State paves the way for another 100-yard game for Carter.

This will mark his fourth 100-yard performance of the season.

I’m going with 20 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown. He’ll look the best he has in a month and we’re finally going to see that offensive line come together at the right time.
