Mel Tucker is talking about Colorado transfer defensive tackle Jalen Sami here. He mentioned the lack of depth at the defensive tackle position earlier and how a small rotation leads to fatigue which leads to big runs for the opposing offense.

Listed at 6-foot-6, 330 pounds, Sami brings depth, experience, and a matchup nightmare for opposing centers and guards.

He’s a perfect run stuffer (leading all Colorado defensive tackles in tackles last year) for early downs to set up the defense in second and third-and-long situations which should help them get off the field.
