Quote on the tight ends

“We have quite a few tight ends. We added, like, three tight ends to our roster, all those guys are receiving threats as well and the tight end is a big part of our offense. We don’t have a scheme where a tight end is not on the field.”

I think a lot of people, including me, are expecting Maliq Carr to have a big year. We know what kind of athlete he is, and we saw flashes of big plays last year.

While breaking in a new quarterback, the tight end is that safety valve to make a safe play and move the ball. He also mentioned Ademola Faleye, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound transfer who I would love to see as a consistent red-zone target.

While the offensive line will be the key to this offense, the tight ends will play a huge role as well in the success of this team.
