Michigan State football social media accounts have been teasing a big reveal on July 28 while providing no information as to what it involves besides debunking the NFT theory early on. It’s a genius marketing plan to get fan engagement and build suspense.

Here are my three predictions as to what Michigan State will reveal this Friday.

1. Throwback uniforms

It was announced that the 2013 Rose Bowl team will be commemorated during the Sept. 16 game against Washington. Not only was that a great MSU team, but the uniforms during that season were some of the best Nike has produced. Whether it was the all-green with “Michigan State” across the chest that they wore for The Rose Bowl or the green sleeved jerseys, everyone has a favorite from that season.

With the 10-year anniversary this season, the Spartans could dress in throwbacks for more than one game with all the different combinations. Shiny light green helmets? Sign me up.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary of Spartan Stadium so Nike could come out with a ton of options of throwback jerseys with modern twists. The early 2000s light greens could make a comeback, maybe and appearance from the Bronze Age of Spartan football, there are a million options to choose from.

A lot of these teaser videos have the Nike logo right beside the Spartans logo, so clothing is most likely the big reveal.
