Michigan State basketball fans are patiently waiting for the return of Spartan hoops. For now, they’ll have to settle for the annual Moneyball Pro-Am as well as videos of freshmen arriving on campus over the summer.

Last year, it was Jaxon Kohler, Tre Holloman, and Carson Cooper, but the 2024 class is even bigger.

The 2024 class is four deep, led by five-star Xavier Booker.

The five-star big man has officially made his way to campus, moving into his apartment on Tuesday afternoon. He’ll soon be joined by his fellow 2024 classmates.

Booker is ranked the No. 11 overall prospect in the class by 247Sports and he headlines a group that’s ranked No. 4 in the country.

Now he’s getting adjusted to college life.

Xavier Booker is the first 2024 Michigan State basketball class arrival

Booker is one of the best signees in Michigan State hoops history. According to the all-time commit ratings, Booker is the third-highest-rated signee in school history. He is behind only Shannon Brown and Jaren Jackson Jr. That makes sense as he’s been compared to Jackson on multiple occasions and many believe he will have a Jaren-type role.

It’s going to be fun to see all of these guys arrive on campus and Booker is the first. He’ll be joined by Coen Carr, Jeremy Fears Jr., and Gehrig Normand.

All of these guys will have a major impact on the future of the program and they could help Michigan State win its second national title under Izzo.

Next. Will Jaden Akins, AJ Hoggard return to MSU?. dark
