Dislike: Referees

I understand that it’s a hard job to referee any sport at a high level. It’s a job I would never want and I’ll rarely blame the referees for a game going one way or another. But my god, there’s just no consistency in what is a foul and what isn’t.

Carson Cooper breathes on a guy and it’s a quick whistle but a Marquette player blatantly reaches in on Tyson Walker bring the ball up the court and it seems the ref is busy checking out the blonde in row four.

I know Mady Sissoko has gotten zero respect from Big Ten refs, but I was really hoping he would catch a break with guys from out of conference.

I would love to see the NCAA come out and say they’re having this crews watch game film on themselves and try to make this product better. The kids deserve it, the fans deserve it, and I don’t think Tom Izzo’s voice can handle another clown show like we saw on Sunday.
