For the fifth time in the past six NCAA Tournaments, Michigan State basketball is playing in the second round and the Spartans are looking to take down No. 2 seed Marquette in round two.

The Golden Eagles are one of the best teams in the country (obviously) as they were 28-6 before the NCAA Tournament, dominating in the Big East. They have four guys who score in double figures and average nearly 80 points per game so it’s going to be a major test for this MSU defense.

Marquette did lose to Wisconsin earlier this season so this will be a winnable game for Michigan State but it’s going to take a herculean effort.

3. Tyson Walker scores at least 20

Tyson Walker didn’t have his best game against USC but he also didn’t play poorly. He was just not as dominant as he’s shown he can be. He finished with 12 points and four assists with no turnovers while finishing with just nine shot attempts, making five.

Walker knows he needs to get more shots up if Michigan State is going to beat a team like Marquette and I think he’ll take at least 15 against the Golden Eagles.

Michigan State is 3-1 in the past four games that he’s shot the ball at least 15 times. He’s also averaging over 20 points during those contests.

We’re going to see him get shots up and take over the game.
