With March hoops in the air and Michigan State basketball not playing until Friday, let’s take a trip down memory lane with some of my favorite March moments from our Spartans.

4. Michigan State 85, Maryland 83 (2010)

I actually started doing homework during this game because the Spartans were looking so dominant, and our house wanted to opt for a little Sunday funday.

Up 12 with five minutes to play, our house considered heading out early. But in those remaining  minutes, Greivis Vazquez etched his name in the “Almost Hall of Fame” by scoring nine points in the last two minutes and actually had the 16-point second-half deficit erased to lead by one with six seconds to play.

Heart pounding, I peek through my eyes as Draymond Green dribbles it up, almost decapitates Delvon Roe with a pass to Korie Lucious who takes one dribble and sinks the game winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

I screamed, you screamed. Every house on M.A.C. screamed as MSU continued its Final Four run.
