The Big Ten Conference finally begins their postseason on Wednesday night — Friday for Michigan State basketball.

Here is how every game will play out, so I can confidently say you can bet your mortgage on these games. I can’t guarantee that you win, but I can for sure say that you are able to bet large sums of money on these games.

Wednesday games

  • Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers

To say Purdue’s Fletcher Loyer took the soul out of the Buckeyes when he made a game winning 3-pointer to begin the new year would be an understatement. After going neck-and-neck with the then No. 1 team in the nation, Ohio State went on to lose 14 of its next 15 games.

The Wisconsin Badgers were the model of consistently inconsistent in Big Ten play, including a stretch of eight straight games alternating wins and losses. The Badgers won their final regular season game so let’s keep their inconsistent train rolling.

Prediction: Ohio State 66, Wisconsin 63

  • Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

I’m sure there are a lot of Minnesota basketball fans that are eager to see this abysmal season end. Dead last in the Big Ten by a sizable margin and only two conference victories (albeit a huge one for Spartan fans late in the year).

Nebraska has been hot of late, winning 6-of-8, including a shocker of a road win at Iowa. Which makes this upset all the more upsettier.

Prediction: Minnesota 71, Nebraska 70
