1. Michigan State covers on the road

You would think that after Saturday’s devastating loss by the Spartans and the fact that Nebraska is playing its best basketball of the season that the Cornhuskers would be favored over Michigan State at home, but that’s not the case.

Michigan State is a four-point favorite on Tuesday night.

While that shocks me, it just goes to show that Vegas is high on the Spartans and still believes that this team should probably beat everyone not named Purdue on its schedule. That includes a road win at Nebraska after they’ve taken down Rutgers and Wisconsin recently.

The Spartans will head to Lincoln with a bounce-back on their minds and they’ll need to come out strong and keep the offense hot like it was against Iowa.

I think that happens and thanks to Joey Hauser’s big game and Jaxon Kohler injecting life off the bench along with the guard play competing at an elite level, the Spartans will pick up a big win and score 75 points, covering the four-point spread with a big win.

This team will show how tough it is mentally.
