Has a win ever felt so good? Coming home to play in front of a Breslin Center crowd for the first time since disaster struck campus last Monday, Michigan State basketball picked up a statement win over No. 17 Indiana to improve to 17-10 on the season.

The Spartans pick up another resume-boosting Quad 1 win, and they move into a fourth-place tie in the Big Ten standings. The push for a double-bye in the Big Ten tourney is still alive.

What did we learn from Tuesday night’s statement win over the Hoosiers?

3. Post play was overall solid

While we didn’t see a lot of scoring from Jaxon Kohler or Mady Sissoko, they combined to have an excellent game even without Carson Cooper who was out with a sprained ankle.

Both guys did the little things really well.

Kohler had more offensive production with four points, but Mady had the loudest two points of the night on an alley-oop over Trayce Jackson-Davis to get the crowd into it. Both played solid defense on TJD and Kohler even put him in a blender on the offensive end with a nice spin and score and he scored a tip-in over him right after.

It was refreshing to see both centers play well and hold their own against one of the best bigs in the Big Ten.
