1. Michigan State plays a full 40 minutes, picks up a big win

We haven’t seen Michigan State play a full 40-minute performance since maybe the Nebraska win to kick off the new year and that’s led to some disappointing losses — the most recent coming on Saturday night in Ann Arbor.

Earlier this season, Michigan State jumped out to a nine-point lead over Indiana in Bloomington before going on a cold stretch that saw Indiana recapture a lead before halftime. It was one of those games in which it felt like Michigan State was going to get the job done, but the final few minutes of the first half and the entire second half went Indiana’s way.

That won’t happen this time around.

Michigan State will get out to a quick start and take a five-point lead in the first few minutes before going back and forth with the Hoosiers before halftime.

The second half with be mostly Michigan State as the team will come out with emotions running high and take care of business, essentially punching its ticket to the NCAA Tournament with another Quad 1 win.
