Malik Hall: B-

Malik Hall played the most minutes off the bench, more than doubling the next-closest player. But his impact on the offensive end was nearly non-existent, if not for his three assists. He had three points on 1-of-5 shooting as his slump on that side of the ball continues. He just didn’t look comfortable on offense and took some poor shots in the post. Hall earns a B- because he rebounded the ball well and made some good passes.

Jaxon Kohler: A-

I’m currently on the “Jaxon Kohler needs more minutes” train as he finished with six points on 3-of-3 shooting and looked like the post threat on offense that this team desperately needs. He can give Michigan State 15-20 minutes per game and score 6-8 points off the bench and that’s something that is very valuable right now.

Pierre Brooks: C+

Did Pierre Brooks have a good game? No. Did he show that he’s willing to shoot out of his slump? Yes, and that’s what you love to see. Brooks needs to keep shooting in order to regain that confidence he had earlier in the season. He missed all three shot attempts, but at least he’s being aggressive. And his defense wasn’t all that bad, either.

Carson Cooper: B+

Carson Cooper had some of the most productive six-minute stretches you’ll see from a bench player all year as he came in, played solid defense, and finished with five points, a rebound, and an assist. Cooper looks like he’s going to be a legit post threat in the future.
