If you’re anything like me, you probably were a little weary of Sunday afternoon’s Michigan State basketball game at Ohio State.

The Spartans hadn’t played well on the road for a while and even though the Buckeyes were in the middle of a major slump (losses in 10-of-11), they had plenty of talent. There’s a reason Ohio State was a popular pick to win the Big Ten before the season began.

But Michigan State came prepared even after a slow start and took a 13-point lead into halftime only to extend it in the second half with a 21-point win.

Which players earned the highest grades in the much-needed road blowout?

Mady Sissoko: C-

Let’s just be blunt here: Mady Sissoko had a bad day.

The junior big man played the fewest minutes of any starter (16) and was 1-for-3 from the field and was a liability on the offensive end of the floor.

Sissoko had just two points on a dunk in the second half and he grabbed four rebounds. He did have a nice block in the second half, but that hardly made up for his three fouls and three turnovers as he just looked disjointed all afternoon long.

This will probably end up being one of his worst games of the year but Michigan State needs him to be better moving forward.
