Malik Hall: B+

Malik Hall took over down the stretch along with the rest of the Spartans as he was tough to guard and drew a couple of big fouls. He did what he wanted in order to get to the paint and finished with eight points and five rebounds on 3-of-6 shooting. He needs to back down to get his own looks more often because he’s a load for opposing forwards to handle.

Carson Cooper: B+

Carson Cooper gave arguably his best minutes of the season with Mady Sissoko out getting stitches after taking an elbow to the face. He played 12 minutes and held his own on defense, and then some. He finished with two rebounds, a steal, and two blocks which was more than Tom Izzo could have asked for in a pinch.

Tre Holloman: C+

I would have given Tre Holloman a better grade, but his two turnovers in nine minutes dropped him to a C+. He did have a rebound and an assist and his 3-point attempt rimmed in and out.

Pierre Brooks: Incomplete

Pierre Brooks seems to be in the dog house right now and that didn’t change against Wisconsin as he played just four minutes and had a minimal impact. I can’t give him a legitimate grade.

Jaxon Kohler: Incomplete

Like Brooks, Jaxon Kohler played just four minutes and seemed to be on a short leash. He made a couple of defensive mistakes and was quickly taken out of the game. He gets an incomplete grade.
