Winning at the Kohl Center is not an easy task, by any means, but Michigan State basketball got that done on Tuesday night, taking down the No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers.

The Badgers had gotten off to an 11-3 start to the season with some really good conference wins under their belts, but Michigan State took advantage of a team without Tyler Wahl and improved to 12-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play with a seventh straight win.

Michigan State didn’t miss a field goal in the final nine minutes of the game and AJ Hoggard came up clutch with some really tough makes late to pull out the win.

Let’s get into the player grades from the game.

Mady Sissoko: B

I thought Mady Sissoko played a solid game after struggling a bit against Michigan.

Sissoko made all three of his field goal attempts, including a nifty dribble drive in the first half where he side-stepped a defender and made a baby jumper. He was 3-for-3 from the field and had six points with a game-high 11 rebounds. He finished with just seven fewer rebounds than the entire Wisconsin team.

Though Steven Crowl finished with 19 points, Mady did what he could there as the Wisconsin big man was making just about every contested shot near the end of the first half and into the second. Mady’s four fouls and stitches after an elbow to the face limited him.

Overall, solid game from Mady.
