2. Joey Hauser averages a double-double

Through two months, Joey Hauser has been really good for the Spartans and he’s been a difference-maker in a number of games. When he’s on, there aren’t many teams that can slow Michigan State down.

The second Joey makes that first three, you know it’ll be a long day for the opponent because when he’s hot, there’s no stopping him.

Hauser is averaging 14.1 points and 7.5 rebounds this season which leads the team and he’s shooting 49 percent from the floor and 45 percent from three. This is the epitome of a revenge year for the senior forward because almost everyone turned their backs on him at some point in his Spartan career and he continues to prove them wrong.

It’ll be a big month for the senior as he gets hot and stays hot, averaging a double-double throughout January because, well, the Spartans need him to if they’re going to contend.
