1. The game will be tight (as always)

I know this seems crazy given how bad Oakland has been this season, but the Grizzlies always seem to play the Spartans tough.

Sure, this game will be in East Lansing rather than a neutral site in Detroit which would usually make this a tougher win for Michigan State, but that doesn’t mean you should count Oakland out completely. The Grizzlies are just 2-10 this season, but Greg Kampe always coaches his best game against Tom Izzo.

The line right now is -21.5 in favor of the Spartans which makes me think that Las Vegas doesn’t realize just how close these two teams always play.

Oakland is going to cover that spread.

I think Michigan State still wins by 10-plus points, but it’s going to be a close game throughout as the Spartans pull away late.

No win in this series is ever easy and this year is no exception.
