Michigan State vs Notre Dame live stream: How to watch ACC-Big Ten Challenge online
Wednesday’s Michigan State vs Notre Dame game won’t exactly draw as much attention as Ohio State vs Duke or Indiana vs North Carolina which are both taking place on Wednesday night as well, but it’ll be an interesting matchup for hoops fans.
The Spartans come into this game with a 5-2 overall record and have wins over Kentucky, Villanova, and Oregon to start the year. If fully healthy, they may have been able to take down Alabama as well. But their only full-strength loss was a one-point defeat on an aircraft carrier against Gonzaga.
Notre Dame, on the other hand, is 5-1 on the year and is fresh off a loss to St. Bonaventure. The Irish haven’t faced the toughest competition this year, but they can light up the scoreboard from 3-point range if they get hot.
This game isn’t going to be easy for the Spartans but if they can win, they’ll make a statement heading into the lighter part of non-conference play.
Still down two starters as Jaden Akins is doubtful for the game on Wednesday night, according to Tom Izzo, Michigan State will have its hands full. It’ll need to rely on some solid perimeter defense.
