2. Jayden Reed approaches 1,000 yards

Jayden Reed has had a steady climb back to his normal self this season.

He began the year with an injury that he suffered in the offseason, according to an apparent accidental overshare by Katin Houser. He then looked like he was hobbling early on and not 100 percent. Then he ran into a bench against Akron and needed stitches and missed the next game at Washington and just didn’t look healthy against Minnesota and Maryland.

Against Minnesota and Maryland, he had just 11 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown. He looked off.

But that all changed against Ohio State as he caught four passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. He looked like his old self again, making acrobatic catches against the best team in the Big Ten.

Reed is going to carry that over into the final six games and make up for lost time. He has just 256 yards on the year, but I’d be willing to bet he averages close to 100 per game over the final six if he stays healthy. He’s going to approach 1,000 yards after a slow start.
