Michigan State football will take the field at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Spartan Stadium against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

After an embarrassing loss last weekend in Seattle, Michigan State will need to bounce back and show improvement in all three phases of the game if they want to come out on top.

Minnesota is off to a hot 3-0 start to the season as they have taken care of business against all three of their non-conference opponents. The Gophers have played a pretty cupcake schedule to start the year. Nevertheless, there have been no bumps in the road so far as the Gophers will be looking to prove to the Big Ten that they are legit contenders to represent the West in Indianapolis this December.

Let’s take a look at three players who will be key for the Spartans if they want any chance of winning on Saturday against P.J. Fleck’s Gophers.
