The 2022 season is finally here and Michigan State football fans have to be excited about the sky-high expectations in East Lansing.

Michigan State football enters the month of September as one of the best teams in the Big Ten and they have a slate of games that should set up nicely for an undefeated push before a grueling month of October.

Will the Spartans go unbeaten this month? Will the defense improve? Will Payton Thorne take another step? Will a running back step up?

So many different questions and the answers are on the horizon.

Let’s get bold.

5. Three different receivers have 100-yard games

I almost had this bold prediction about three different running backs reaching 100 yards, but I’m just not sure that anyone behind Jalen Berger and Jarek Broussard will get enough touches to reach that mark.

So that’s why I’m going receivers here.

Jayden Reed will have at least one 100-yard game in the first month, Tre Mosley will have a big game against Washington, and Keon Coleman will break 100 against Akron in Week 2. Someone might go off against Minnesota as well (my guess is Reed) but I think Michigan State will have three different 100-yard receivers this month and at least one in every game.

Heck, Daniel Barker could even approach the 100-yard mark.
