1. Michigan State wins at least 10 games again

Winning 10 games in college football is no easy feat. The better coaches in the Big Ten (Ryan Day, Jim Harbaugh, Paul Chryst, James Franklin) seem to do it more often than not and I truly believe Mel Tucker is one of the best the conference has to offer.

Many are projecting Michigan State to take a step back this season after going 11-2 last year, but I’ve predicted a 9-3 regular season already with losses to Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.

I went the safe route.

Now I’m going bold.

Michigan State will win one of those three regular-season games against the East’s best teams, finishing with a 10-2 record on the year once again and vying for an 11th win in a New Year’s Six bowl. If Michigan State can go 11-2 in back-to-back seasons, recruiting is just going to keep skyrocketing like it has been.

Tucker will build off this 11-win season in 2022 and turn it into a Big Ten title-contending 2023 campaign. Calling it now.
