Michigan State football had four players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft and there could be even more in 2023. Who are the Spartans’ top prospects?

The 2022 NFL Draft is officially in the books and four Michigan State football players were selected just one year after having an 80-year streak snapped.

Kenneth Walker III, Jalen Nailor, Connor Heyward, and AJ Arcuri all heard their names called during the draft and a handful of others were signed as undrafted free agents or were invited to minicamp. It’s safe to say Mel Tucker is churning out more NFL talent each year.

The 2023 NFL Draft class should be the best yet.

Here’s who could be drafted next year.

JD Duplain was one of Michigan State’s best linemen last year and one of them actually got drafted this season which was the first time since Brian Allen in 2018.

Duplain actually started all 13 games at guard for the Spartans and was an All-Big Ten honorable mention performer. He was consistent and paved the way for Kenneth Walker III and the offense to put up big numbers. He was far from the problem for the Spartans in 2021.

There are a couple of offensive linemen who I believe could be drafted next year and Duplain is one of them. Chris Kapilovic might be building a heck of a resume in East Lansing.
