1. Speed the game up

Everyone has heard it before, Michigan State is at their best when they are out and running in transition. Michigan State has to run the floor. The big men need to run the floor as well. Get out and get in transition; control the tempo of this game.

These Spartans can be damaging when they are running not only because they are so good at it but also because this is a very deep MSU team. Tom Izzo has been playing nine, 10, even 11 guys at times this season. This allows their players to get some needed rest so they can get out and run.

Michigan State has to control the tempo and run because if they choose to let Purdue dictate the way this game is played it will be game over for the Spartans. They need to make Purdue run and play their style of game. Michigan State has the capability to win this game they have beaten this team before but they made Purdue play Spartan basketball. This has to happen again.
