Michigan State Football: Top 3 post-2022 signing day transfer targets
Michigan State football has already signed a handful of transfers in the 2022 class, but here are three more who could be top targets.
Mel Tucker’s transfer portal domination over the past couple of years has helped turn the Michigan State football program back in the right direction.
When he inherited the roster in mid-February 2020, it was clear there was a lot of work that needed to be done. He also took over an average 2020 recruiting class and 2021 had zero commitments when Mark Dantonio retired suddenly. He put in the work to sign the nation’s No. 46 class but he also pulled in about a dozen transfers.
Tucker has since put together an 11-2 season with a New Year’s Six bowl win and two wins over Michigan while also bringing the Land Grant Trophy home.
With this improvement on the field, there has been more recruiting success. In fact, he’s signed the No. 23 class for 2022 and he’s bringing in seven more high-impact transfers from the portal. Guys like Jarek Broussard, Jalen Berger, Daniel Barker, Khris Bogle, Ameer Speed, Aaron Brule, and Jacoby Windmon should all see the field plenty in 2022.
While there have been seven transfers officially signed, Michigan State could still add a couple more after spring ball when more spots open up.
Here are the three current targets we should be keeping on as the Spartans schedule some visits.
