Michigan State football star Kenneth Walker III is headed to the NFL draft and I’m taking a look into where the best landing spot is best for him.

Kenneth Walker III was one of the most special running back talents college football has seen in some time. Despite being snubbed from the Heisman Ceremony, Walker’s draft stock is still extremely high.

So what team would be the best fit for Kenneth Walker in the 2022 NFL Draft?

In Walker’s first and only year at MSU after transferring in from Wake Forest, he put up astonishing numbers. He had 1,636 rushing yards, 18 touchdowns, and he averaged 6.2 yards per carry with the Spartans. Along with the great offensive numbers, he also showed incredible elusiveness and a great combination of speed, strength, vision, and finding gaps to make the most of every play.

Where is the best landing spot for Walker? I think as it is right now the best fit is the Buffalo Bills. This is because the Bills have a strong offense and they need offensive line help and a good running back. But since the Bills were one game away from the AFC Championship Game, they don’t have a high draft pick and I don’t think they want to give up a ton of draft capital to trade up to get a lineman so I think their best bet is to pick up Walker.

Walker would be a huge upgrade over Devin Singletary and we have seen that he can be elite with a bad line. The Bills line is not atrocious but there is room for improvement. If you add Walker to the Bills, he could boost the offense to a whole different level because it will add the ability for Buffalo to start introducing more play-action to their playbook similar to how MSU did so.

With Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs who are both elite at their positions already and have carried their team to these division games, adding an elite running back to this team will make them even bigger Super Bowl contenders than they already are, especially if they can get a guard and tackle in the later rounds to help build the line.

Buffalo is a spot to watch out for with Walker.
