Michigan State basketball has its toughest month ahead of it. February will be grueling but the Spartans will come out on top.

Michigan State basketball is halfway through its Big Ten schedule. The Spartans have had a slightly easier schedule than most in the conference which means they are coming up to a very strenuous February slate.

They finished off the month of January with a road win against Wisconsin followed by a road loss to Illinois before they took on their in-state rival. The Spartans were able to destroy their rival at home to put themselves atop the Big Ten and will look to ride the success of the Michigan game into the month of February.

They have four home games and four away games barring no COVID-19 pauses for the month. With these eight games, only three of them will be against teams in the lower half of the conference. Three of these matchups are against ranked opponents and two are against teams that have received votes to be ranked.

The Spartans will have their work cut out for them next month. They will continue their stride and work to get at least a share of the Big Ten title.

Let’s take a look at each game and give a prediction for what will happen.
