3. Energy is everything

Michigan State finally came out of the gate and looked like it wanted to play the game of basketball. After the first four minutes where they had to play off their pre-game jitters, the Spartans took off to the races and did not look back.

The Spartans jumped out to a 17-point lead in the first half. After this they did not really let up much and they kept playing there game of basketball. This is the first game since coming back from Christmas break that the Spartans looked alive.

The mentality looked different. How they held themselves looked different. How they played looked different. They got back to the basics and out right dominated this strong Badger team to show the rest of the Big Ten that this Spartan team is no joke and they are serious.
