Michigan State basketball traveled to the Kohl Center to take on Wisconsin on Friday night. What did we learn from this dominant Spartan win?

On a night when Michigan State basketball captain Gabe Brown was very quiet, scoring only three points on 1-for-7 shooting, the Spartans marched into the Kohl Center to get a quality road victory against a top-10 team.

The Spartans won 86-74 and with this win the now sit alone on top of the Big Ten.

The Spartans struggled in the first four minutes of the game but they got those pre-game jitters out and dominated the rest of the game.

Michigan State was led by Malik Hall coming off the bench with 14 points, followed by both Max Christie and Tyson Walker who each added 12.

The Badgers were led by Johnny Davis, scoring 25, and Brad Davidson with 22. Other than these two Badgers, Wisconsin had no answers for the Michigan State Spartans. Every time Wisconsin tried to go on a run, Michigan State was there to quiet the crowd.
