Michigan State football’s uniforms for Michigan game are elite
If you’ve followed Michigan State football’s social media pages this year, you’d know that they love to tease the looks for each week’s game every Thursday.
Michigan State has had some pretty great uniforms this season with Gruff Sparty helmets, the “script State” helmets, and all-white.
On Saturday, however, the Spartans will debut a new look.
For the first time ever, Michigan State will feature a green on green helmet which goes well with that all-green look that the Spartans plan on wearing for the Michigan game.
The helmet, with the all-green look, is absolutely fire.
The green jerseys, green pants, black socks, and black shoes look has been a staple of the Michigan rivalry game at home over the years. This is the look we’ve come to expect from Michigan State for Hate Week’s game.
But the new helmet is what really wins me over. While I’m not usually a fan of green logos on green backgrounds, I think this works well.
This is the “we mean business” look and I love it.
Michigan State football also released a beautiful hype video
Along with the uniform release, the social media team posted a hype video that teased the jerseys at the end.
If this doesn’t make you want to run through a brick wall, you may want to check your pulse.
Mel Tucker will have his guys ready to go on Saturday afternoon and they’ll be looking crispy for arguably the biggest game East Lansing has seen in six years.
Time to keep Paul Bunyan home.
