I have many fond memories of Michigan State football beating Michigan.

This rivalry comes down to big plays in big moments. This is one of the best rivalries in the country because of such historical games like “Trouble with the Snap” or “Spartan Bob” in the infamous “Clockgate” and the “Pride comes before the Fall” game.

For fans, these games can be an emotional roller coaster.

I can remember turning the TV off in 2015 because I thought Michigan State had lost to Michigan. Then I got a call from a friend asking if I had seen what happened. I turned on the TV and I could not believe my eyes. How could that have happened? How could MSU have scored on that play to win?

While I love all of those memories, I have to go with the “Halloween upset” game last year. My favorite moments were with Rocky Lombardi throwing to wide receiver Ricky White. Why is this my favorite? Michigan was a three-touchdown favorite going in. The Spartans looked terrible in their first game. On paper, it had all the makings of a David vs. Goliath matchup.

I had already prepared myself that week for a big loss. Instead, Michigan State was leading at halftime. Then, Lombardi continued to pick apart the Michigan secondary.

When the game ended, I sat on my couch almost in as much shock as I was after rewinding the “Trouble With the Snap” game. This one stands out as my favorite.

What is your favorite Spartan moment or game in this rivalry?
